Bill Powers has 36 years of operations and environmental health and safety (EH&S) leadership experience at leading global industrial organizations and consulting service providers.

 

During his career he has worked in a variety of industries at many management levels. After beginning his career in operations, he successfully operated and managed operations of multiple sizes and with varying levels of complexity. He has served as plant manager as well as the senior executive responsibility for all operations.

Bill has provided executive and operational leadership and guidance to small and medium size portfolio companies for a variety of private equity firms. The portfolio companies have included automotive, aerospace, building products, consumer products, distribution, food & beverage, medical, and specialty chemicals industries. This included a specific engagement where Bill completed large multisite integration and consolidation, on schedule, under budget ($7 million), and achieved $10.1 million annual savings.

Bill was the Executive Vice President of Operations at a large manufacturer in the US that served the food and beverage industry. He led a team across seven manufacturing locations within the US and an 1,800-member workforce, where he directly reported to the CEO.

​

Bill also served as the Vice President of Operations at a $600 million manufacturer and supplier of sustainable chemical products and technologies. He was responsible for the entire U.S. site and European sister facility.

Bill graduated from West Virginia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.
