Barrey Davis

Barrey Davis has over 40 years of experience in the financial and banking areas and is skilled in assessing requirements, determining priorities, analyzing courses of action and making adjustments for peak efficiency and profitability.  Over the course of his career, Barrey has been involved in over $30 billion in structured finance, asset-based lending and leasing transactions.
 

Prior to joining Focus Management Group, Barrey was the President and COO of Coast Business Credit and Southern Pacific Bank. He supervised a $15 billion loan portfolio and managed over 300 professionals in the audit, underwriting, loan portfolio and marketing departments.  In other senior level roles, Barrey served as Vice President for National City Bank, where he was responsible for all aspects of lending and monitoring of its loan portfolios. Barrey has also worked for Fleet National Bank covering five states for the bank. He was a Team Leader and Sr. Vice President with Bank One, managing a $5 billion loan portfolio. He was also a Senior Vice President and National Sales Manager of Fremont Financial Corporation, where he led a staff of 75 professionals located in various regions nationwide. Barrey has also served in senior level roles with Commercial Credit.

 

Barrey brought his extensive banking and management background to Focus Management Group and serves as a resource to lenders, other consultants and clients because he has quite literally seen everything. 

Barrey holds an MBA from Case Western University and a BA from Loyola University Chicago
 

Prior to entering the financial services industry, Barrey served in the United States Army.  He is a highly-decorated Vietnam Veteran who served in the 101st Airborne Division (Screaming Eagles), United States Army in Vietnam and is a lifetime member of The Disabled American Veterans, the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
 

Barrey has been a member of the Turnaround Management Association since 1993. He belongs to the Education Foundation of the Commercial Finance Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute and is a former board member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Commercial Finance Association.
