Kevin Belanger
Kevin Belanger is a seasoned finance professional with a comprehensive background in debt restructuring and transaction management. Kevin is experienced in developing critical strategies and leading negotiations related to credit facility restructuring, bankruptcies, and liquidations.
Prior to joining Focus Management Group, Kevin served in senior-level positions for leading financial institutions, where he originated and managed transactions for a diverse industry base, including transportation, furniture, software, service, and distribution. Most recently, Kevin served as a managing partner for a financial advisory firm specializing in cash flow and asset based lending. Here, Kevin’s service offering included underwriting, portfolio management, and field examinations.
Previously, at Wells Fargo Business Credit, Kevin was successful in soliciting new business asset based loans and developing a referral base network. In this role, he incorporated his strong credit skills to structure sound and creative solutions for prospective borrowers. Early in his career, Kevin held roles with Wells Fargo and BayBank as an Auditor, Credit Analyst and Field Examiner.
Kevin holds a B.S. in Business Administration in Finance and a Master of Science in Finance from Suffolk University. He is a member of the Commercial Finance Association, the Turnaround Management Association and the Association for Corporate Growth.
