Thomas McCabe is a Managing Director with over 25 years of experience in providing interim CFO and CFO Advisory, turnaround and transactional advisory services. Tom has extensive experience in reorganization, restructuring, capital raising, buy side advisory, sell side advisory and merger integration for clients across a wide range of industries which include healthcare, technology, real estate, transportation, construction, governmental, automotive, and manufacturing.
Prior to joining Focus Management Group, Tom served as a Managing Director at a Consulting firm located in the Midwest region. In this capacity, he was responsible for leading interim CFO engagements, transaction advisory services, and for providing business strategy and viability analysis.
Tom’s leadership experience also includes providing restructuring and distressed M&A advisory services to troubled companies and their stakeholders during out of court workouts and bankruptcy reorganizations. As an Interim CFO/COO, Tom provided Financial Advisory Services for several national retailers, a $475 million parts distribution and various automotive suppliers. Additionally, Tom has significant experience representing various healthcare related businesses providing CFO related advisory services.
Tom holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and received his BBA in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame. Tom is a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois and Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Financial Executives International, American Institute for Certified Public Accountants, ICPAS, Turnaround Management Association, Association for Capital Growth, Irish Angels, and the Notre Dame Executive Council.
