Peter Dominici is a seasoned Certified Public Accountant with over 25 years of experience in the finance and accounting industries. Pete has fine-tuned financial and operational expertise in SEC reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliancy, budgeting and forecasting, corporate finance, investment banking, operational reporting and analysis, cash management, internal and external audit procedures, mergers and acquisitions, and manufacturing and distribution processes.
Pete has significant experience in providing financial and operational guidance to both emerging and distressed alternative energy companies and their stakeholders. In a recent engagement, Pete guided a 60 million gallon per year ethanol production facility which was experiencing profitability, cash flow and liquidity problems due to the rapid downturn in the demand and sales price of ethanol that occurred in the second half of 2008. Pete analyzed business and financial operations, prepare a valuation analysis of the entity, forecast financial projections and cash flows under varying ethanol production operating levels and recommend to the facility’s board of directors an action plan in regards to it on-going negotiations with its secured lender.
Pete is also an equity owner in an emerging alternative energy business and has a keen understanding of the current alternative energy landscape and how it has been and will be impacted by the United Nations Kyoto Protocol of 1997, its planned 2012 successor and the current Climate Change “Cap & Trade” legislation that is being considered for enactment by the United States government today. Through his experiences over the past ten years, Pete has gained considerable first-hand knowledge of a variety of alternative energy technologies, including waste (liquid and solid) to energy, bio-fuels and ethanol production, solar, wind and hydrogen fuel cell electrical generation, hydrogen-rich gas additives, and their related commercial implementation projects and operations.
Pete previously served staffing firm Kforce, Inc. (formerly Romac International, Inc.) in various executive roles including Operational Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Secretary, and Treasurer and as a member of the Company’s Board of Directors. As Chief Financial Officer, Pete was responsible for Kforce, Inc.’s Initial Public Offering and Secondary Offerings.
Pete has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bryant College.
