J. Tim Pruban

J. Tim Pruban has led Focus Management Group’s (“FMG”) vision since its founding. Tim’s leadership philosophy and professional experience mirrors FMG’s mission, combining strategy, organization, leadership and finance expertise to deliver lasting results to clients.
Tim is a turnaround and crisis management specialist with over 25 years experience. He is a recognized expert in operations management, strategic business planning, bankruptcy, organizational restructuring and interim management. Tim also has expertise in cash management, finance and acquisitions.
Prior to founding FMG, Tim was a senior manager for a national turnaround consulting firm. Tim has served more than 200 companies, providing consulting, senior operations, general management and advisory services to clients in manufacturing, processing, banking, wholesale, retail, distribution, transportation, construction and professional services. Tim has served as a Court-Appointed Responsible Person and as Advisor and Chief Restructuring Officer to Debtors-In-Possession for Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases.
Tim started his professional career as an international financial analyst with Motorola, Inc., where he implemented and coordinated a new budget system for the International Group. Tim developed long and short range profit planning, strategic planning and computer modeling for Motorola.
Tim is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Association for Corporate Growth, and the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), Florida.
DePaul University awarded Tim his MBA with a focus in Entrepreneurship and Finance. Tim also earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accountancy from DePaul.
